The Credit Risk team leverages cutting edge analytical techniques to generate insights from data to drive optimal decisions that balance growth with acceptable risks. We work in close partnership with cross-functional teams across geographies and interact extensively with external entities such as credit bureaus, new data providers and start-ups to develop and implement products and strategies.

As an Analyst in the team, you will oversee and support the Australia & New Zealand Commercial portfolio by conducting in-depth data analysis to identify insights and potential risks.

• Analytical aptitude with experience in analysing large volumes of data (open to graduates or candidates early in their analytics career)
• Advance Excel skills required
• SQL and/or Python skills preferred
• Experience/familiarity with Big Data and Machine Learning is preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of the economics of the business, how the business makes money, Net Loss Provision and the levers that can be used to affect the economic outcomes.
• Experience in using balance sheet, financial statement, bank statement and AP/AR files in credit assessment
• Experience/familiarity with cutting edge credit risk system designs, emerging technologies such as Distributed Ledger and interfaces such as APIs, digital capability, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Data Science or similar quantitative field of study preferred
