    Where you’ll make an impact

    • Providing Level 1 & 2 support across Hamilton Island’s business applications to keep systems stable, secure and running smoothly.
    • Platform Support: Logging, triaging and resolving incidents and service requests, managing the support queue, troubleshooting application, data and integration issues, and coordinating with vendors when required.
    • System Administration: Managing user access, roles and permissions, performing routine configuration and maintenance, and monitoring system performance and data flows.
    • Incident & Problem Management: Supporting incident, problem and change processes, contributing to root‑cause analysis, and assisting with deployments and post‑release validation.
    • Testing & Improvements: Executing test scenarios, validating fixes and enhancements, supporting UAT, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
    • Documentation: Creating and maintaining knowledge articles, SOPs, known issues and workarounds to strengthen team capability.
    • Stakeholder Support: Delivering clear, customer‑focused communication, supporting training activities, and collaborating with IT teams, business users and vendors.
    • Governance & Compliance: Following IT policies, cybersecurity standards, data privacy requirements and supporting audit and reporting activities.

    What we’re looking for

    You’re a proactive and customer-focused IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues and finding practical solutions. You have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where no two days are the same.

    To be successful, you’ll need:

    • 2-4 years’ experience in application support, service desk or IT support environments
    • Experience supporting business applications and troubleshooting technical issues
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Experience managing incidents and service requests in a support environment
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
    • Exposure to CRM, CMS, ERP or operational business systems (Desirable)
    • Basic knowledge of SQL, reporting or data concepts (Desirable)
    • Familiarity with ITIL principles and ticketing systems (Desirable)
    • Experience working with software vendors or managed service providers (Desirable)
