Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or Computer Science or work experience in Automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or Information Technology
- Some experience or interest in business, finance, accounting, and auditing; previous experience of working at a Big Four firm preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps and Git and their role in the agile methodology
- Experience in multiple technology areas including cloud hosted/developed technologies (Databricks, AWS, Azure etc) and programming languages such as Python, Spark, C# or VBA
- Experience with low code languages such as Power Apps or Power Automate
- Experience using Azure DevOps and Git to manage codebase with version control
- Built multiple automation solutions using the mentioned technologies
- Applied design thinking principles to create user-centric solutions
- Understanding of risk requirements, data sensitivity and security principles, license checks for open source usage, and maintaining version control
- Understanding of Agile software development methodology and active participation in sprint planning and stand-up
Responsibilities
- Design, build and support cutting edge technology to support Audit clients
- Apply knowledge to build solutions using tools such as Python, VBA, Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, Spark, Power Platform and AI-powered solutions
- Be a key member of the team with an innovative mindset, planning proactively, driving work forward, thinking several steps ahead and striving for the best outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy both custom and standardized software applications
- Engage in constant learning to understand how new technical methodology can be applied in day-to-day job
- Work in an Agile framework for software development building and delivery
- Witness improvement and streamline of processes and impact of automation in audit processes
- Access training programs and resources to stay updated on industry trends
