About the role

Our client HUB  have an opportunity for an experienced Credit Manager to join our Finance team in a newly created role, working alongside another Credit Manager.

In this role, you will take ownership of key aspects of the firm’s credit management function, working collaboratively with the other Credit Manager to lead our approach to collections, debtor management, and credit risk.

Working closely with Partners and stakeholders across the firm, you will provide practical and commercially focused advice to improve cash flow and support the effective management of our debtor portfolio.

You will also share responsibility for leading and developing the Credit team, creating a collaborative, high-performing environment with a strong focus on service and continuous improvement.

About you

• Leading the firm’s credit management and collections function in partnership with the other Credit Manager
• Managing aged debt and driving strategies to improve debtor days and cash flow
• Partnering with Partners and senior stakeholders to proactively manage outstanding debt
• Providing oversight of key client exposures, payment arrangements, and credit risk
• Monitoring and reporting on debtor performance, trends and areas requiring attention
• Developing and improving credit policies, processes, and controls
• Managing escalated or complex collection matters
• Leading, coaching and developing the Credit team
• Working collaboratively across Finance and the broader firm to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
