We’re partnering with a well-regarded financial services organisation to recruit a Manager, Enterprise Risk, to join a collaborative and high performing team in a true business partnering role.

This isn’t a role where you’ll sit on the sidelines reviewing what everyone else is doing. You’ll be embedded with the business, working closely with senior stakeholders across Technology and Operations to strengthen risk capability, challenge constructively and help drive practical, incremental improvements.

The organisation has a well-established risk framework in place and is focused on continuous improvement. They’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, influencing outcomes and making risk both practical and usable for the business, rather than simply policing it.

You’ll partner with leaders across Technology and Operations to facilitate risk assessments, support control uplift initiatives, analyse incidents and emerging risks, improve reporting and help embed a strong risk culture. There’ll also be opportunities to support a range of strategic initiatives across Technology and Operations, working with the business as new projects and change programs are delivered.

This is a highly visible role where you’ll have ownership of a significant portfolio, regular engagement with senior stakeholders and the chance to make a tangible impact across the organisation.

The ideal profile:

• Experience in Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk within financial services.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience facilitating risk workshops, control assessments and maintaining risk registers.
• A practical understanding of APRA prudential standards, with CPS 230 and CPS 234 exposure highly regarded.
• Confidence challenging stakeholders while maintaining strong working relationships.
