JOB  DETAILS

you will:

• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, and performance commentary.
• Analyse financial results and investigate variances against budgets, forecasts, and targets.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Develop financial models and cost-benefit analyses to support business cases and investment decisions.
• Monitor operational costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend process improvements.
• Partner with operational departments to provide commercial and financial support.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant legislation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance systems, reporting processes, and controls.

What You Will Bring To The Team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification (completed or currently working towards).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, management accounting, or corporate finance.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, management reports, and financial analysis.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Pronto, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial audiences.
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Highly Regarded

• Experience within mining, manufacturing, engineering, or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience using Power BI or other business intelligence and reporting tools.
• Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Advanced Excel certification or formal financial modelling training.
