Requirements
- Proven experience delivering IBM ACE & MQ upgrade or transformation projects
- Strong knowledge of the IBM software stack and integration with tools such as IBM Verify
- Scripting and automation capability (e.g., Bash, Korn Shell, Python)
- Exposure to modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
Responsibilities
- Assess existing IBM ACE & MQ environments and define upgrade and transformation strategies
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-optimised target-state architecture
- Plan and execute data migration, validation, and cutover activities with minimal downtime
- Establish monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and governance frameworks
- Provide knowledge transfer and ongoing support to operational teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with containerisation (e.g., Kubernetes/OpenShift) and working in secure or Government environments
