Role Description

This is a full-time, work from home Junior Mortgage Broker role. The Junior Mortgage Broker supports senior brokers in assessing client needs, gathering financial information, and preparing loan applications. Daily tasks include meeting with clients, explaining lending options, collecting documentation, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems. The role also involves liaising with lenders, following up on application status, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies. The Junior Mortgage Broker will contribute to client outreach, assist with basic credit analysis, and provide ongoing support to clients throughout the mortgage process.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of mortgage lending, home loans, and basic credit assessment.
• Strong client service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and relationship building.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, document handling, and record keeping.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior brokers and other team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with using financial software, CRM systems, and standard office applications.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret basic financial information.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking) preferred.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop skills through training and mentorship.
