Our client is seeking a Management Accountant in Melbourne, Australia. This role offers exposure to financial reporting, business partnering, and operational analysis. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years’ experience in management accounting, a CA/CPA qualification, and strong Excel and ERP skills. You will engage with senior finance leadership to support business performance through accurate reporting and insightful analysis within a dynamic business environment.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in management or financial accounting.
- Background within manufacturing, distribution or product-based industries preferred.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and re-forecasting processes.
- Deliver commercial insights to operational and leadership teams.
- Manage month-end close activities, journals and reconciliations.
- Oversee rebate accounting and reporting processes.
- Assist with audit, compliance and tax-related requirements.
