Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge and 3–7 years of experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication, including supporting AAC assessments, recommending and prescribing AAC devices, and contributing to funding applications.
- Experience in settings such as hospitals, schools, private practice, or therapy organisations as a Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist.
- Eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership or current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency registration is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clinicians, stakeholders, and end users, understand diverse needs, build trusted relationships, and confidently support recommendations and decisions.
- A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with the ability to navigate clinical enquiries, ask questions, work independently, seek guidance when appropriate, and collaborate effectively with others.
- A growth mindset and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel are required.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen and grow the company’s presence across primarily Western Australia as well as interstate.
- Support clinicians and their clients throughout product trials while building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and information events focused on assistive technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
- Stay up to date with evidence-based practices and developments in the field.
- Represent the company at conferences, expos, and industry events across Australia.
