Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is typically required.
- You will be an experienced operation, commercial or financial analyst with experience in manufacturing or operational environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial software, databases, and analytical tools.
- Ability to consolidate, analyze, and report financial and operational metrics accurately and timely.
- Location flexible across Australia Eastern Seaboard.
- A willingness to undertake occasional travel within the Asia Pacific region is required
Responsibilities
- Deliver necessary insights to the management team through analysis, modelling & building of recommendations that will improve the financial performance of the business.
- Own the preparation and submittal of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) requests that are significant to the region and require regional leadership and corporate approval, providing comprehensive financial analysis and justification for proposed investments.
- Build a capital management/monitoring program for all CAPEX, including the build of regular forecast updates, annual budgets and long term strategic plan inputs
- Process development to drive working capital improvements, notably through inventory
- Perform financial performance reviews with the management team, focussed on all areas of operational activity and variances as well as working capital and capex
- Develop a reporting framework aimed at delivering consistent operational metrics across APAC
- Identify key financial risks and opportunities and developing appropriate countermeasures and action plans.
Desired Qualifications
- CPA (Certified Practising Accountant), CA (Chartered Accountant) is highly regarded
