Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Chartered member (CPEng) of Institute of Engineers Australia
- Ideally 15+ years demonstrated experience in civil engineering
- Demonstrated experience at a senior level with strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of civil construction industry
- An innovative and out of the box attitude to solutions and designs
- Ability to critically assess, interpret and communicate information of a complex nature
- Ability to develop and mentor staff
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor both local and nationally within the Brisbane Civil team to support delivery of complex high-risk projects
- Provide technical expertise and contribute to the successful delivery of complex high-risk projects
- Develop and mentor a team
- Influence outcomes from early planning through to delivery on complex projects where decisions have lasting impact
