What you’ll do

- You lead business requirements elicitation and own the specifications from start to finish.
- You take accountability for the end-to-end quality of functional and technical specifications. You make sure UX and Solution Architecture align perfectly within the signed-off BSD.
- You manage the project backlog in Jira with thoroughness and accuracy.
- You create and manage sign-off on the BSD and facilitate the change request process.
- You write and organise User Stories, Epics, feature requests, and bug reports.
- You coach others on formatting and making sure the BSD, including product configurations, gets signed off.
- You use AI to work smarter and faster. For example, you know how to translate AI-generated notes into tight specifications.
- You confidently give demos of functionality on our clientĀ platform. Communication skills
- You manage customer expectations, work closely with clients, and lead engaging workshops.
- You serve as the main point of contact for functional and domain-related discussions in the Australian banking landscape. Product knowledge
- You act as the domain and product expert for our banking solutions in Australia. You guide configuration, workflows, and data mapping.
- You guide clients on how to get the most out of our product out-of-the-box. When customisation is essential, you collaborate with the product team to explore enhancements. Problem-solving and analytical skills

Who you are
- Experience: Five to seven years in a similar role, with at least five yearsā experience in the Australian banking sector.
- Domain knowledge: You must possess deep domain expertise in banking (e.g. retail banking, payments, deposits, loans, or wealth management) in the Australian context.
- Methodology: Expert in creating Business Specification Documents (BSDs), Epics, User Stories, and back-end tasks. You adhere to our client way of working and use our Agentic SDLC fluently.
- Tooling: Expert in Jira, Gemini, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and whiteboarding tools such as Miro. You use AI as your default way of working.
- Education: Bachelorās degree or higher. IIBA CCB certification is a plus.
- Language: Professional working proficiency in English.
- Travel: Willingness to travel based on project needs.
