About the role
As a Senior Customer Support Specialist – Finance, you’ll be a trusted finance expert for schools using the FSM Finance modules. This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll support complex finance enquiries, guide other support team members, and contribute to training, projects, and product improvements.

You’ll work closely with the Finance Lead, Customer Support team, and other internal teams to ensure customers receive accurate, timely, and practical guidance.

What your day will look like
• Act as the escalation point for complex finance module enquiries
• Support and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Customer Support Specialists
• Identify and escalate critical or technical issues to Level 3 support when needed
• Maintain clear and accurate customer records in the CRM
• Support finance module implementations for new and existing schools
• Create and deliver finance training, including webinars and documentation
• Maintain and improve knowledge base and self-service content
• Assist with testing, documentation, and release support
• Contribute to product enhancement discussions and improvement initiatives
• Support Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing where finance expertise is required

About you
You enjoy solving complex problems and sharing your knowledge with others. You’re calm under pressure, organised, and confident working with finance systems in a customer-facing environment.

You’ll bring:
• Strong accounting or finance knowledge, ideally within a school environment
• Proven experience supporting or using FSM Finance modules
• Confidence handling complex or escalated customer issues
• Experience mentoring or supporting team members
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
• A customer-first mindset with strong attention to detail
• The ability to manage priorities during busy periods
