    Your Role

    • Translate customer problems, business requirements and product goals into clear UX opportunities, design principles and target-state experiences.
    • Use customer insight, journey maps, personas, user flows and discovery activities to inform experience decisions across web, mobile web and native app channels.
    • Contribute to the UX strategy and promote customer-centred, accessible and commercially effective design practices across the organisation.
    • Design simple, intuitive, accessible and brand-aligned digital experiences that support member, partner and business outcomes.
    • Create and iterate wireframes, prototypes, mock-ups, high-fidelity designs and detailed specifications that can be clearly understood and delivered by cross-functional teams.
    • Ensure design solutions are practical, technically feasible and aligned to product priorities, digital strategy, accessibility standards and design system guidance.
    • Plan and conduct usability testing, design workshops and validation activities to test assumptions and improve design outcomes.
    • Apply research findings, customer feedback and performance insights to refine designs and improve the end-to-end member experience.
    • Maintain a strong focus on inclusive, mobile-first and responsive design, ensuring experiences are usable and accessible across platforms.

    • Contribute to the development, maintenance and consistent application of design systems, UX standards and accessibility guidance.
    • Produce clear UX/UI documentation, including interaction guidance, design specifications and accessibility considerations for delivery teams.
    • Protect and enhance the quality and consistency of the Flybuys digital experience across channels.

    Your Experience

    • Tertiary qualification in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 3+ years’ experience in UX design, UX/UI design or user research within a digital product environment.
    • Demonstrated experience designing customer-facing digital experiences across web, mobile web and native app platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of UX best practice, mobile-first and responsive design, digital accessibility and user-centred design methods.
    • Experience creating personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs and detailed UX/UI specifications.
    • Experience planning and conducting usability testing, design workshops and design validation activities.
    • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, InVision or equivalent tools.
    • Good understanding of front-end development concepts, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and native or React Native environments.
    • Customer-centred design: able to turn customer needs and business objectives into simple, effective design solutions.
    • Problem solving: applies critical thinking, evidence and design judgement to resolve complex experience challenges.
    • Collaboration: works effectively with product, engineering, delivery and business stakeholders to align on priorities and deliver outcomes.
    • Communication: explains design decisions clearly and can influence stakeholders through insight, rationale and practical recommendations.
    • Delivery focus: manages competing priorities and supports design work from discovery through to implementation.
    • Customer-centred design: able to turn customer needs and business objectives into simple, effective design solutions.
