JOB   SUMMARY

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the risk management strategies and tactics for consideration by the Ubank Leadership Team to enhance the organisations capacity to cost effectively identify, manage and minimise all forms of unacceptable external fraud risk.
• Drive and implement change projects to develop and implement systems for the improvement of mitigation, prevention, detection and response in relation to fraud and scams.
• Provide a centre of excellence to all divisions/units in fraud and scam management to enable them to identify risk and successfully implement programs to manage unacceptable risk.
• Monitor business planning, strategy and activities to ensure services are being provided in line with Ubank’s fraud and scam risk appetite and customer service expectation levels.
• Monitor, review and report to the Leadership Team (where appropriate) on fraud management performance and practices.
• Cultivate productive and beneficial strategic and operational relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Experience

• Proven ability to lead and manage teams responsible for investigating complex serious crime in relation to external fraud and scams.
• Developing and oversighting investigation strategies, standards and practice; performance monitoring, reporting and management.
• 10+ years of industry service knowledge, preferably in the banking and finance sector.
• Proven ability to demonstrate knowledge or experience of criminal and administrative judicial processes and operational excellence management.
• Understanding of, and experience in, Quality Assurance, Regulatory and/or Risk Frameworks.
• Proven high-level leadership attributes including the ability to communicate effectively, flexibly and with influence
