- Background in framework development, developer tooling, or product infrastructure.
- Strong product sense and care for developer experience.
- Ability to investigate deeply, debug ambiguous issues, and reason from real evidence.
- Experience working across time zones in a remote team.
- Clear written communication and strong ownership.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship features that improve the developer tools.
- Collaborate across the open-source ecosystem to improve adoption and onboarding.
- Optimize the performance, reliability, and user experience of the tools.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Rust.
- Experience maintaining open-source projects.
- Experience with compilers, bundlers, test runners, and caching.
- Familiarity with Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, and Vite+.
