As a Proprietary Trading Business Development Lead, you will build and own relationships with HFT and proprietary trading groups in the Australian market, providing exposure to digital asset products for a leading global crypto exchange.

Responsibilities:

* Build and manage a network of proprietary trading groups, HFTs, and market makers, developing a pipeline of prospects for digital asset trading.
* Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, coordinating with technical experts on product questions and business leads on commercial terms.
* Negotiate commercial terms including fee tier structures, rebates, and liquidity provision incentives with trading firms.
* Coordinate onboarding of new accounts, including wholesale/sophisticated investor classification, KYC, and legal documentation with Compliance and Legal teams.

Qualifications Needed:

* Existing relationships with market makers, proprietary trading firms, or trading infrastructure providers.
* At least 4 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in derivatives, CFDs, FX, or commodities at a regulated exchange, broker, or FCM.
* Understanding of market microstructure, maker-taker fee models, and how HFTs evaluate exchange venues.
* Based in Australia, ideally Sydney, with interest in digital assets and novel financial products.
