    JOB   SUMMARY

    About the role:

     

    This position is to provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate records of accounts receivable under his or her control.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Daily bank reconciliations including foreign currency accounts in Workday.
    • Preparation of daily banking journals, adhoc bank transactions for entry into the general ledger.
    • Processing of daily bank credits, receipting and maintaining customer accounts in MYOB.
    • Investigation of unknown receipts, liaising with the bank and RSM office managersf to identify where these should be recorded in the general ledger/debtors ledger;
    • Performing monthly reconciliations of debtor balances between Workday and MYOB receipts for a month and liaising with key RSM staff to resolve discrepancies.
    • Daily cashflow analysis and reporting to senior management.
    • Manage the Accounts Receivable e-mail inbox to ensure timely responses to queries;
    • Responsible for recovery of invoices issued to ex-employee invoices for any excess payments/ recoups and coordinating actively with People culture team.
    • Continued documentation and updating of Accounts Receivable processes;
    • Cross-skilling with other areas within Group Finance; and
    • Share knowledge with team members through effective communication.
    • Develop, maintain working relationships with multiple office manager and people culture team.

     

    About you:

     

    Education Requirements:

    Essential

    • Certificate/ Diploma in accounting/ bookkeeping (Completion of Year 12 mentioned earlier)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

     

    Demonstrated Experience & Attributes

    Essential

    • Minimum 1-2 years in a similar role/ accounting role.
    • Good in organising and process oriented for any follow-up within and outside RSM.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Exposure to coding invoices
    • Knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping procedures
    • Strong problem solving and query resolution skills
    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

     

    Desirable

    • ERP knowledge : Workday and MYOB experience would be an added advantage.
