You’ll join a fast-growing international fintech that provides flexible funding solutions for SMEs. Originally launched in Australia, the business has expanded across APAC and Europe and has funded more than $1.5B in loans.
What you’ll do

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform and load data from multiple source systems.
• Own core parts of the data warehouse, including schema design, documentation and ongoing maintenance.
• Build and maintain the data models and business logic behind dashboards and reporting.
• Lift data quality and governance standards by identifying issues across systems and following them through to resolution.
• Automate recurring data processes and reporting flows to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Partner with insights and business stakeholders to turn reporting needs into robust, usable technical solutions.

Who we’re looking for You should be comfortable as a hands-on IC who likes owning the plumbing behind reliable reporting, not just the final dashboard.
Must-haves:

• Strong SQL skills and working Python capability used in real data transformation work.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
• Experience working in Snowflake and owning warehouse structures, including schema design and documentation.
• Solid grounding in data governance and data quality, with a high bar for accurate, trustworthy datasets.
• Around 2+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering, with enough ownership to work independently and deliver without heavy day-to-day technical direction.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in fintech, lending or financial services.
• Experience in a fast-growing business with changing systems, stakeholders and reporting demands.
• Exposure to Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with version control practices.
