Responsibilities

• Develop concept and detailed designs for coastal and maritime infrastructure such as seawalls, revetments, breakwaters, sheet pile walls, wharves, jetties and boat ramps.
• Prepare, check and review engineering calculations and supporting technical documentation including design reports, technical memoranda, feasibility studies and Basis of Design documents.
• Interpret metocean and wave modelling outputs and convert them into design parameters and loading cases.
• Contribute to technical specifications, quantities and construction documentation packages.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Degree qualification in Civil, Structural or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience in coastal or maritime engineering projects, or a strong desire to specialise in this field.
• Postgraduate study in coastal engineering, oceanography or marine science.
