Responsibilities

Define and document safety requirements aligned with regulatory standards and customer expectations

• .

Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments using techniques such as FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis

• .

Develop and execute safety verification and validation plans

• .

Lead safety reviews including Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Safety Design Reviews (SDR)

• .

Prepare and maintain comprehensive safety documentatio

• n

Ensure that all safety engineering activities comply with applicable industry standards, regulations, and enterprise policies

• .

Prepare and maintain comprehensive safety documentation, including safety plans, hazard logs, and safety assessment reports

• .

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate safety findings, provide updates, and ensure alignment on safety objectives

• .

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety engineering practices

• .

Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety engineering, or related field

• .

6+ years of experience in systems safety engineering, including hazard analysis and safety verification

• .

Proficiency with safety engineering methodologies (FMEA, FTA) and aerospace standards (ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254)

• .

Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

• .

Familiarity with safety analysis tools and software

• .

Desirable:

Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Functional Safety Engineer (FSE)

• .

Experience in aerospace safety-critical systems
