    JOB  DETAILS

    you will have hands-on experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, preventative maintenance, and system optimization across technologies such as mobile robots, ASRS, conveyor systems, and robotic arms.You will work closely with engineering and operations teams while gradually taking ownership of maintenance planning, fault diagnostics, and system improvements.

    Technical Skills Required

    • Basic knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens/Omron preferred)
    • Understanding of industrial automation systems and robotics
    • Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar)
    • Knowledge of electrical systems, sensors, motors, and drives
    • Exposure to HMI/SCADA systems is a plus

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist in planning and executing preventative maintenance (PM) schedules for automated industrial equipment.
    • Support coordination with internal teams and clients to ensure availability of spare parts and consumables.
    • Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
    • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation as per company procedures.
    • Contribute to minimizing downtime and improving system reliability.
    • Support diagnosing and resolving faults in PLC systems (Omron, Siemens), including ladder logic and I/O configurations.
    • Assist in modifying and updating PLC programs to improve system performance.
    • Troubleshoot communication issues between PLCs and devices such as sensors, motors, servo drives, and VFDs.
    • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions under guidance.
    • Gain hands-on exposure to HMI/SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols.
    • Assist in maintaining CAD drawings (electrical and mechanical) to ensure design accuracy.
    • Support system improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability.
    • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance reports, SOPs, and installation procedures.
    • Perform basic mechanical maintenance tasks (belts, gears, motors, drives, etc.) under supervision.
    • Provide inputs for design-for-maintainability improvements.
    • Collaborate with production, operations, and engineering teams for smooth system integration.
    • Support client interactions for technical troubleshooting and maintenance coordination.
    • Provide basic technical guidance on system operation and best practices.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and OHS regulations.

    Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in electrical / electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
