JOB SUMMARY
Responsibilities
- Prepare payment claims and raise each claim according to the reported cash flow and in accordance with the contract requirements
- Forecast cash inflows and outflows on a weekly basis with input from the Project Manager
- Monitor project financials to ensure all expenditures are within budget
- Forecast POC using the forecast model with input from Project Manager and monitor monthly. Raise uncertainties as soon as known
- Responsible for project reporting and analysis
- Project forecasting
- Maintain and update billing plan
- Raise Purchase requisitions and Purchase orders
- Maintain Project WBS / Network activity structures
- Follow up NCR / Journal Recoveries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree – Business Administration/Commerce/Accounting/Project Accounting/Project Management or other relevant degrees
- Experience working in Cost Control on large EPC projects
Competencies
- Strong finance/accounting background with reporting and reconciliation skills
- Financial controlling and administration experience in complex project environment
- SAP experience, or large ERP application
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Word, Access and Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to project timelines
- Self-managed, with good communication skills and strong work ethics
- Structured approach to problem solving
- Good understanding of project management principals
