Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 2+ years of experience in property risk engineering, loss prevention, industrial consulting, asset integrity, reliability engineering, or a related field
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Willingness to travel for site-based assessments across Australia
Responsibilities
- Conduct property risk assessments and engineering surveys across a diverse range of industries
- Evaluate fire, explosion, natural catastrophe, machinery breakdown, and business interruption exposures
- Review facilities against recognised standards including FM Global, NFPA, Australian Standards, and industry best practice
- Prepare technical reports, risk improvement recommendations, and client presentations
- Analyse loss scenarios, critical asset vulnerabilities, and operational risks
- Support clients in implementing practical risk mitigation and resilience strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, brokers, and industry stakeholders
- Contribute to business development opportunities and support the growth of Marsh Risk Consulting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within mining, energy, manufacturing, logistics, utilities, infrastructure, or heavy industry
- Knowledge of FM Data Sheets, NFPA standards, Australian Standards, or equivalent international codes
- Experience conducting technical audits, inspections, risk assessments, or engineering studies
- Understanding of business interruption, operational resilience, and enterprise risk management
- Consulting or client-facing experience
