Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience in Technology, Security, and/or Technology Risk Management across first-line or second-line functions.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Industry certification from ISACA, such as CRISC, CISA, or CISM, or RMIA CPRM certification.
- Experience working in a regulated environment and understanding relevant standards, frameworks, governance, and reporting, with APRA experience preferred.
- Comprehensive risk management experience, including facilitating risk workshops and stress and scenario tests.
- Knowledge and experience to interact confidently with senior stakeholders and deliver clear presentations to senior management teams on all aspects of the Risk Management Framework.
- People leadership experience leading small hybrid teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, lead, and implement activities across the Market Unit that drive effective management and awareness of Technology risks.
- Partner with senior APAC Technology leaders to support the identification, management, monitoring, and mitigation of Technology risks.
- Support effective risk governance of strategic programs.
- Provide second-line-of-defense Risk Review and Challenge to ensure adherence to applicable frameworks, policies, standards, and defined risk appetites.
- Collaborate with broader risk teams to support Technology policies and frameworks.
- Develop training and awareness programs to ensure Technology risk management practices are effective and aligned with emerging regulatory requirements.
- Lead a small hybrid team with one direct report.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a regulated environment, including understanding of relevant standards, frameworks, governance, and reporting such as APRA.
