JOB SUMMARY
Requirements
- Experience building scalable user-interface systems and maintainable architecture with React, TypeScript, and modern server-side rendering frameworks such as Next.js.
- Solid foundations in full-stack web development, including Node.js and familiarity with cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with testing discipline, component libraries such as Storybook, and web performance optimization.
- Ability to partner effectively across engineering, design, product, and growth teams.
- Ability to use data and experimentation to shape technical decisions and pragmatic trade-offs.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate front-end experiences for xero.com and connected signup journeys.
- Build and refine reusable components within modern web architectures using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Enhance site performance, Core Web Vitals, and accessibility across high-converting user flows.
- Partner with product, design, and search engine optimization specialists to deploy rapid A/B experiments and funnel optimizations.
- Collaborate with platform and customer-technology teams to integrate downstream services, forms, and content management systems.
- Own complex initiatives end to end.
- Mentor fellow engineers, simplify solutions across front-end and back-end environments, and raise code quality.
