What You’ll Be Doing

• Create slick, responsive UIs using React + TypeScript
• Build and scale backend services with Python, Django & DRF
• Design APIs and data models that actually make sense
• Ship clean, well-tested, maintainable code (no cowboy coding here)
• Own problems end-to-end — from idea to production
• Debug, optimise, and continuously improve performance
• Collaborate with DevOps to run services on GCP + Kubernetes
• Work directly with product & commercial teams to deliver outcomes, not just features

🧠What You Bring Core Experience

• 5+ years in software engineering
• Solid React + TypeScript experience (3+ years)
• Strong Python experience (3+ years in production)
• Understanding of Django & Django REST Framework
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
• Confidence working with PostgreSQL (or similar)
• Familiarity with Docker and Git-based workflows

Bonus Points

• GCP experience (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, etc.) – AWS experience also applicable
• Kubernetes / container orchestration
• CI/CD pipelines & automation
• Terraform / infrastructure as code
• Observability & monitoring tools
• Experience in fintech or regulated environments
