Requirements
- Strong systems-level programming skills, including memory management, concurrency, and performance.
- Expertise in C and C++.
- Experience with Java and JavaScript, including writing and debugging JavaScript without relying on frameworks.
- Knowledge of programming principles and systems-level programming.
- Experience with threaded and concurrent programming.
- Proficiency in using AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot or coding agents to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
- Approximately 8 years of experience in C++, ideally combined with 10 or more years across Java and C++.
- Experience with unit testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and source control.
- Web application experience, including a solid understanding of the HTTP protocol.
- Understanding of cookies, web sessions, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to research beyond obvious documentation.
- Ability to work effectively with geographically dispersed teams.
Responsibilities
- Build software for mobile applications and web browsers used by millions of people.
- Gather, send, and process data for the Device Intelligence team.
- Research and solve technical problems beyond obvious documentation.
- Write and debug JavaScript without relying on frameworks.
- Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.
- Use continuous integration and source control in the software development process.
