As a Staff Software Engineer, Financial Platform – Issuing, you will engineer financial infrastructure and payment-card issuing platform capabilities, providing technical leadership for a critical payments domain in Australia.

Responsibilities:

* Design and build scalable systems for card issuing and financial platform capabilities
* Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across engineering teams
* Ensure platform reliability, security and compliance with card scheme requirements
* Collaborate with product and compliance teams on issuing product development

Qualifications Needed:

* Extensive software engineering experience, ideally in payments, card issuing or financial platforms
* Strong proficiency in backend engineering and distributed systems architecture
* Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers
* Understanding of card issuing, scheme rules and payment processing
