    Key Responsibilities are:

    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support RCR’s overall strategic objectives.
    • Collaborate with Executive Leadership Team to drive financial planning and forecasting initiatives, including budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
    • Identify and share financial insights and recommendations to support effective decision-making, including opportunities for growth as well as risk mitigation.
    • Identify and analyse RCR’s profitability drivers.
    • Monitor and oversee the delivery of RCR’s financial KPIs/ KRAs.
    • Identify and implement strategic initiatives to improve RCR’s cycle-count program, including data integrity, stock optimisation, and classification and elimination of obsolete inventory.
    • Support EGM and Executive Leaders’ decision-making processes with accurate, data-driven financial guidance and commercial insights to improve operations, drive growth, and enhance profitability.
    • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and capital allocations.
    • Provide financial modelling, scenario analysis, and forecasting to evaluate the financial impact of projects and contracts, including overseas opportunities.
    • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, and financial systems.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to RCR, MET, and NRWH stakeholders. This includes regular intra-month, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial requirements as well as key performance indicators.
    • Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard RCR’s assets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This includes performing routine and effective reviews of reconciliation activities, fraud risk, and segregation of duties.
    • Assess and manage financial risk, including credit, liquidity, and market risks, and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

    The successful candidate will display the following skills and experience:

    • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related (minimum Bachelors)
    • Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
    • Proven experience of not less than 10years’ in financial management.
    • Strong background in strategic financial planning, budgeting and financial analysis
    • Extensive knowledge of accounting principle, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with track record of effectively managing and developing teams.
    • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel (VBA/macros) for technical and evaluative purposes.
    • Proficient with complex financial modelling and finance systems.
    • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
