    Requirements
    • MSc in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Microbiology fields
    • 3-5 years of experience in science-based solution selling in the Life Science market in Pharma and Biotech in the territory
    • Strong knowledge of the Australian market dynamics, business regulations, and KOL networks to drive Revenue growth and competitive differentiation
    • Excellent in managing customer interface and relationship, both at the scientific end-user level, decision-making level and procurement levels
    • Have strong oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills in English
    • Ability to travel 50% of the time across Australia & New Zealand, and occasionally within the JAPAC region
    Responsibilities
    • Develop Deep Client Relationships: Establish trusted, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers in specific customers to ensure Abcam is their trusted partner
    • Strategic Planning: Develop Strategic Account strategies that include Revenue growth, project pipelines, and stakeholder maps to deliver Unambiguous Share Gain
    • Business Growth: Proactively identify, develop, and close New Business Opportunities
    • Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Australia, New Zealand and Singapore Marketing & Sales team, Customer Support teams, Finance, Supply Chain & Digital to deliver solutions to customers’ pain points
    • Pipeline Management & Reporting: Use of CRM to plan and manage sales activities, managing pipeline, qualifying leads and managing funnel with regular management reporting

    • Have a global perspective and enjoy collaboration with senior leaders, in particular the Global Leadership Team as well as the JAPAC Regional Marketing & Sales Teams
    • Possess a high degree of work ethic and professional transparency
