What you’ll do

• Own loan applications end to end through to contract finalisation, including more complex or higher-value files
• Prepare, review, and finalise loan contracts and supporting documents with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
• Run eligibility, compliance, credit report, and documentation checks, and raise risk concerns when something doesn’t look right
• Act as a senior point of contact for queries and escalations across sales, credit, brokers, clients, and offshore teams
• Support junior Loan Processing Officers with onboarding, training, and day-to-day guidance
• Spot process gaps, keep SOP and compliance documentation current, and contribute to workflow improvements

Who we’re looking for You’ll likely suit this role if you’re a hands-on senior processor who likes owning files properly, keeps standards high, and can help steady the team when things get busy.
Must-haves:

• End-to-end loan processing experience across application review, document collection and verification, contract preparation, compliance checks, credit report handling, and contract finalisation
• A senior hands-on processing background, with experience owning complex caseloads, handling escalations, and supporting more junior team members
• Strong working knowledge of loan processing systems and confidence working across documentation-heavy workflows
• High accuracy in data entry, record management, and quality assurance of loan documentation
• A track record of working carefully and accountably in compliance-focused processing work

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in SME lending, non-bank lending, fintech, or another regulated financial services environment
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume processing environment within a scaling business
• Exposure to cross-functional coordination with teams such as sales, credit, brokers, clients, or offshore operations
• Experience maintaining SOPs and compliance documentation, and contributing to process improvement
