The Role
We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Business Development Manager to join our QLD team. You will be working remotely from a metro city, selling our market-leading short-term lending offering of bridging, business and build products which include partially complete construction projects.
What will you be doing?
- Expanding our broker partner network by onboarding new brokers and partners.
- Managing existing Brokers and Aggregator relationships.
- Managing and handling broker loan inquiries and originating loan applications.
- Reviewing applications and validating information for accuracy and credit quality.
- Attending industry events and promoting Funding.com.au
- Educating our broker partners about our products.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
What will you bring to the role?
- An existing broker network.
- Aggregator and industry relationships.
- Experience working with a lender in a similar BDM role.
- Strong product and credit understanding, ideally in short-medium term Bridging Finance but we will provide training.
- The ability to work autonomously, while being part of a team.
- Highly motivated with excellent time management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed presentation, prospecting, workshopping, and influencing skills.
- Confident in approach and thrive on growing business opportunities.
