    JOB   DETAILS

Our clienr HUB is looking for a hands-on performance marketer who knows how to build effective campaigns, interpret the numbers and turn insights into action. If you enjoy testing ideas, improving results and seeing the impact of your work in the real world, we’d love to hear from you.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll agree on campaign goals, strategy and budgets together, then take the lead on day-to-day execution, testing and optimisation. You’ll have the scope to adjust activity and allocate spend within approved budgets.

Your primary focus will be growing paid ticket revenue and event attendance while improving acquisition costs and understanding what drives results. You’ll also support campaigns that generate qualified exhibitor and sponsor enquiries.

Strong, hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads is essential. Experience with other digital channels, SEO and WordPress is an advantage.

    What you’ll do

    Paid media and campaign performance

    • Work with the Marketing Manager to turn event priorities and ticket targets into campaign strategies, budgets and measurable goals.
    • Plan, build and optimise campaigns across Meta and Google, as well as other relevant platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok and X.
    • Manage day-to-day advertising spend within approved budgets, adjusting campaigns and channel allocations based on performance.
    • Develop audience targeting, prospecting and remarketing campaigns.
    • Test messaging, creative, offers and audiences. Write ad copy and brief our creative team on image and video assets.
    • Track campaign performance against agreed revenue, acquisition cost and return-on-ad-spend targets.
    • Monitor cost per ticket purchase and customer acquisition cost, distinguishing between new and returning customers where data allows.
    • Forecast results, flag risks early and recommend improvements.
    • Work with sales and event teams to understand enquiry quality, bookings and attendance.

    Conversion and partner campaigns

    • Identify opportunities to improve the journey from seeing an ad to purchasing a ticket.
    • Work with the marketing team to improve landing pages, calls to action, forms and registration journeys.
    • Support website updates, email follow-up and automated funnels that turn interest into purchases.
    • Work with the Marketing Manager and internal team on joint advertising and promotions with event partners.
    • Use tracking links, partner codes and dedicated landing pages to measure campaign effectiveness.

    Tracking, analytics and reporting

    • Manage and improve performance measurement across advertising platforms, websites and ticketing systems.
    • Work with GA4, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, conversion events and relevant tracking integrations.
    • Validate purchase, revenue and enquiry tracking, investigating discrepancies, missing data and duplicate conversions.
    • Establish consistent campaign naming, tracking links and reporting definitions across events and channels.
    • Explain where ticket sales are coming from, including any gaps or limitations in attribution.
    • Work with our AI and automation colleague to develop dashboards and reporting tools, while helping define requirements and validate data.
    • Coordinate specialist technical support for complex tracking and integrations when needed.
    • Provide clear reports that explain results, highlight issues and recommend next steps.

    What you’ll bring

    • Proven, hands-on experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads, with examples of measurable results.
    • Experience managing advertising budgets and improving revenue, acquisition costs and return on ad spend.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into practical decisions.
    • Practical experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels and conversion tracking.
    • An understanding of how advertising, landing pages and purchase journeys work together.
    • Strong ad copywriting skills and the ability to brief effective creative.
    • Confidence managing multiple campaigns and deadlines.
    • A collaborative approach, with the initiative to manage execution and raise issues early.
    • Clear communication and accountability for agreed outcomes.
    • A university degree is not essential. Demonstrated experience running successful paid campaigns is.

Skills and experience that would be an advantage

You don’t need to have all of these to apply:

    • Experience with WordPress, including updating website content or landing pages.
    • Knowledge of SEO and opportunities to improve organic search visibility.
    • Experience with LinkedIn, TikTok, X or other advertising platforms.
    • Experience driving ticket sales, event attendance or qualified B2B enquiries.
