As a Software Engineer, Business Accounts, you will build and maintain the backend financial infrastructure and integrated business-account services that power a modern payments platform, working within a collaborative engineering team in the Australian fintech sector.

Responsibilities:

* Design and develop backend services for business account functionality, including ledgers, balances and money movement
* Build and maintain APIs and integrations that connect business-account services to payment rails and partner systems
* Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews to uphold engineering quality standards
* Collaborate with product, design and compliance teams to deliver secure and scalable financial features

Qualifications Needed:

* Strong backend engineering experience, ideally in fintech, payments or financial services
* Proficiency in modern backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Python, Node.js) and relational databases
* Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with distributed systems
* Familiarity with financial data integrity, reconciliation and secure coding practices
