Requirements
- Previous Account Management experience, or relevant experience in a paint trade
- A willingness to attend events outside of standard work hours as required
- Excellent communications skills – you will easily establish trust and make people feel comfortable with your easy-going approach.
- A proven record in building new relationships, or accounts and growing existing business
- Current Driverās license and Australian work rights
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage a strategic account plan to maximize sales, profitability, and market share within your assigned territory
- Build, maintain, and grow a portfolio of commercial trade accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue streams
- Utilize CRM tools effectively to manage customer data, track sales activities, and maintain a disciplined call plan to ensure consistent engagement with key accounts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and logistics, to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and enhance customer satisfaction
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, growth objectives, and profitability goals through proactive account management and negotiation
- Deliver exceptional customer service and relationship management, fostering long-term partnerships and customer loyalty
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, demonstrating professionalism and brand advocacy
- Work autonomously with strong self-motivation while contributing effectively to team goals and company culture
